About
I started drawing at the age of 33. I had always been a maker (knitting, crochet, needlework, cross stitch) but whilst away backpacking I decided that maybe the time had come to make my own designs. Back home with a set of colouring pencils and sketchpad from WHSmith I stared at the blank sheet of paper and thought maybe I should do some drawing classes.
I completed my BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in 2011 and my MFA Fine Art at Wimbledon College of Art in 2018.
My time is split between Research into the Occupation of Space and my Practice where I attempt to realise in concrete forms the aspects of my Research realised in my obsession with the hands and my experience of navigating the performance of life.
I live and work in London.
